Over the July 4th weekend, 2014, my daughter and I bought 3 sheets of 30x40 mat board, some spray paint, and some glue, and we built a replica Captain America shield (the round one).
We're using this blog to show you how we made that one, and also any future updates. What we really want to do is use the same pattern and technique we used to build this one out of paper and build one out of polystyrene or 22-guage sheet aluminium.
We hope our adventure here launches some adventures at your house.
